Personal Statement

Football is my passion, my love. I enjoy the team atmosphere, holding each teammate accountable starting with myself.  I push myself very hard, I want to be the best WR and TE in Northeast Ohio. I do what my coaches ask of me and more. I have a very strong desire to play football at the next level and continue my education.  There's nothing like putting on that uniform, laces up my shoes, sliding that helmet over my head and looking at the field envisioning me catching a ball, breaking a tackle and taking it to the end zone!!

I have great concentration, I never drop ANYTHING, my hands are huge and I have a soft touch with the ball. My footwork is very good and I have explosive speed running my route and after making the catch. My nickname since 7th grade has been "Baby Gronk" but now that I've grown to over 6'4 and 225lbs the Dr says I should be 6'5 to 6'7 or bigger they just call me GRONK now.

Reference letter from Coach...

To whom it may concern:

Conner Hray has developed into a fine offensive threat for us for the Norton Panthers as a Jr. He has not only made strides as a receiver but has become a much-imporoved blocker for me as a tight end as well.

Conner has a nice combination of speed and size which helps him fit into our system as both a wideout and an inside threat.  He also has become more of a team leader this season.

The future for Conner looks very bright as we are expecting big things from him for the rest of this season and into is Sr. year.  His attitude has been great for us and Conner is the type of person that any program would be proud to have.

Sincerely,

Scott W. Pollock
