My collegiate goals and aspirations are: 1) get admitted/recruited to a college where I can volunteer and contribute to community and college. I have enjoyed volunteering and coaching little kids, 2) obtain a degree in business finance/marketing, and 3) help my team win a championship!
I believe that I am a good candidate because:
Character - I have faith; I'm honest and of good integrity. I'm all about positivity and I always try to encourage others to do their best.
Athletics - I'm a two-sport athlete. I have versatile and transferable skills in football with experience in multiple positions on both sides of the ball including (outside linebacker, quarterback, running back, middle linebacker, and defensive end). If needed, I could play other positions as well. I also play varsity lacrosse and my current position is LSM (long stick midfielder) on defense. I'm a dependable athlete in practices and every time I get on the field. In my junior year, I broke my left hand in football practice before game #3, yet I still continued to play at a high level with a cast on my arm through game #9. I didn't let that stop me. I try to make a difference each time I compete to give my team a competitive advantage; I believe that two of my best attributes as an athlete is my awareness on the field and that I never give up on a play; I love playing both sports; I'm coachable and always seeking to learn new skills; I'm unselfish and a team player; I value all of my opportunities; I believe that I exhibit leadership qualities, and I expect to be successful.
Academics - I've been blessed to attend one of the best public schools in the nation (Solon City School District); I'm not afraid to take risk academically and challenge myself by taking on a more rigorous course load with both Honors and AP classes; I work hard!
