Family is by far the most important thing in my life. They've always believed in me even when I wasn't so sure myself. Whenever the family friends needed someone to hang out with their children I was there. On holiday breaks my grandmother and some of the family down south would make care packaes for those in need. It was honestly one of the most rewarding feelings knowing that some one got some of the things they needed. When i found out that there was a JV quarter back position open I was the first to tell my mom. She was ready to support me even if i didn't get the spot. She talked me and told me the realness of the situation. She said if you really want that spot you're going to have to work harder than them. So thats what i did. I focused on technique, making the right reads, and fixing the mistakes I did make. There were two other solid quarterbacks gunning for the spot. But the extra attention to detail paid off. Recieving that spot as a freshman was a great accomplishment for me, because then I knew I was ready for higher competion.
