Cody Hughes '13 Recruiting Profile

I am known for my strength of character, both on and off the football field. I have the capacity to continuously push for self improvement, learning and making people around me better. I am a leader on my football team and the classroom and believe there is no substitute for hard work. These values are reflected in my playing abilities and my academic achievements in demanding fields of study such as math and science. I am a football player that plays hard in every practice and game. I am a student that is eager to learn and create work exceeding normally accepted standards. I take pride in being a productive citizen and a volunteer in the Children's Wish Foundation. Recently, I was nominated to the student council because of my leadership qualities, interpersonal communication skills and my ability to co-operate with others. Two years ago I made a personal commitment to obtain a high level of education and play football. I can assure any educational institution they will be receiving a solid citizen, a high achieving student-athlete and a future graduate that will embrace the educational institution's virtues and traditions in order to make the world a better place.
