To Whom It May Concern,
My name is Zachary Holliday and I am a varsity athlete in football, wrestling, and track. I am 6-foot-tall and weigh 220 pounds. I am 17 years old and have been playing football for the past 4 years. I am an Honors student at my high school and maintain a 3.6 GPA.
I have played on multiple teams and played various positions on both offense and defense. Each position provided specific training and responsibilities while developing my overall knowledge of the game. By constantly working on my technique and committing to the weight room, I have succeeded in performing all the positions assigned by my coaches.
I am looking for a college in the Midwestern or Western United States where I can pursue my interest in engineering to the highest level while participate in football. Both my coaches and my experience have taught me to be strong willed and smart when facing diversity which I believe will help me be a major contributor to my collegiate experience on and off the field. I would like to attend a school where I can contribute to both the team's success and earn my college degree.
Thank you for considering my profile and best of luck this season.
