My name is Jimmy Ditty and I will graduate from South Medford High School June 2012. I have accepted an athletic scholarship to play football at Southern Oregon University Fall 2012.
I am 6'0", 250 pounds and have held my school's bench press record since I was a Sophomore. I currently bench press 385, squat 480 and run a 4.6 40-yard dash. Working out and athletic competition have always been a part of my life. I began powerlifting when I was 11 and have since held several WABDL World Records in bench and deadlift. Though I've participated in wrestling, track and hockey, football is my passion. I started playing football at age 8, and my dream is to continue playing in college. Throughout my childhood, I've kept athletic goals posted to the door of my room. The poster simply says "Bigger, Stronger, Faster, Hit Harder." With the support of my father and the home gym in our garage, I have an off-season workout which surpasses that of the school's during football season. This dedication and commitment led to Varsity starts my Sophomore, Junior and Senior Year. I was selected Southwest All-Conference 2nd Team Defensive Line and Honorable Mention Center my Junior Year, and All-Conference 1st Team Defensive Line and 2nd Team Center my Senior Year. My overall objective is to get a quality education, play at the highest competition level possible and make a positive impact on the team.
