Blake Murray '18 Recruiting Profile

What sets me apart from other athletes is versatility, I can, and have, played every possible position needed to help my team win games. 

As a 4 year varsity player for a developing football team that can't seem to have pieces fall into place, my high school football career has been hectic. Coaches have asked me to play 11 seperate positions, from corner to right tackle, and in every instance I have helped my team succeed. Having a young varsity team year in and year out with at maximum 20 players has put me in these situations, and has put me through much adversities in football that I have grown from.  At the end of my senior year I've become more and more serious about having the opportunity to play football at a college that is right for me.

However, my life is not just football, I have applied myself in my classes and plan to study psychology and to have a doctorate in the field for my career. I have found my passion off the field and I now can focus all the rest of my effort on the field, with no nagging thoughts of what's next.
