Hello Coach, my name is Cyree Ames and I am a 5'8" Tailback / Strong Safety / Linebacker from Malvern, Pennsylvania. I would like the opportunity to learn more about you and your institution as well as you having the chance to learn more about me. I have been a Varsity Player my Freshman, Sophomore and Junior and Senior year ( Team Captain Junior and Senior Year ), for Great Valley High School in both Football and Basketball earning a GPA of 2.8.
This past season my Senior Year, our football team finished with a record of 8 - 3 to which i averaged over 6.1 yards per carry 7 Touchdowns on offense and over 30 solo tackles with 2 forced fumbles, 3 sacks and a interception on defense. Post Season League Honors I was award to the Ches-Mont All-Academic and Honorable Mention Teams 3 seasons in a row. Great Valley High School Honored me with the Football Coaches Award as the Top High School Senior . My Junior Year I was awarded the Great Valley Coaches Award Serafino A. DiAntonio Award as the ( Top Junior of my class ). The award means the most to me because it came from all of my coaches and it represents ( Unselfish Dedication and Leadership to the Great Valley Football Team and Community ). Team Honors I lead the GV in rushing with an average of 7.0 per carry. League Honors I was awarded to the Ches-mont Football League Academic All-Conference 2 straight years. As a youth I was selected as a FBU ( Football University ), Junior All-American (only player selection from PA), as one of the top 8th Graders in the nation, winning there prestigious TOP GUN MVP, and participating in the US Army Youth All-American Bowl in San Antonio Texas.
My goal is to look for an institution where I can grow as an individual within the classroom and on the football field, and continue to be a community leader. I have always maintained a high academic standard for myself and I plan to continue that standard by perusing an institution with an outstanding academic reputation in the field of Information Technology and Engineering. Ideally my athletic goal is to be in an environment where I would have the opportunity to make an immediate impact to your team as a player and leader.
Lastly there was a profile done on my by EasternPafootball.com where my coach described what i bring to the team athletically and emotionally.
