Matthew Smalley '12 Recruiting Profile

Greetings,

 My name is Matthew Smalley, a senior at Father judge High School in Philadelphia, PA.  I am hard working, dedicated, and believe in doing the right thing when it comes to academics and athletics. I attribute this to my parents. During my track and football seasons, I attended every practice and arrived on time.  I am team player who gets along well with others.  My leadership abilites were shown through practicing and playing, even while injured.
  I am looking for a great school to further my studies and athletic career. I am not very selective when it comes to the size of the school,  but would like to compete at the highest level possible athletically. I believe competition is a key to success. I am open to different types of schools and am interested in majoring in Engineering.
  During my time at Father Judge I had many achievements.   This year I was selected to as the Football Player of the year in the Philadelphia Catholic League. In addition, I was the 100m and 200m Catholic League Champion(2011), 1st team All Catholic Long Jump, Triple Jump, and Meet MVP (2011).
  I am 5' 10", 174 pounds and run a 4.45 40yd. dash.  My grade point average is 4.0 and I have a decent SAT score.  I will take the SAT again on December 3, 2011.
