Hello, my name is Erik Goodwin and I am a faceoff specialist at Father Judge High School.
My high school lacrosse career has its ups and downs, and we've lost more games than we won, but I believe the adversity is helping me grow as a player. I make mistakes, but I believe it doesn't matter if I drop a pass. It matters what I do AFTER I drop a pass.
There is very little glory in taking faceoffs, and very little accolades, which is fine by me. I come to play every day and make sure I do my job to the best of my ability. I fight for every single faceoff, win or lose, and continue fighting until the possession is called.
I believe I have a high lacrosse IQ, and am very coachable. I don't mind doing the little things, like shagging balls after practice or picking up trash after tournament games. I just want to be out on the field playing the game I love.
My grades so far have been high, and I think I can be a good fit for many programs.
