I would be a good fit for any team for plenty of reasons. First and foremost, I love the game & I will work as hard as I can to get on the field. What makes me different is that I try to prove myself everyday at practice and at games to make the coach know I work really hard. What drives me is the fact that I’ve lost so many important people in my life. My father when I was four died from respiratory issues. My younger brother died from the same issues. He died during my sophomore year. With this tragedy, I felt like quitting, but I thought about it. My father never seen me play and my brother never had a chance to see me or play himself. I think I would be letting them down by quitting. My other younger brother who is a nice size to play, can’t because he has one kidney. He’s so upset. I will be the first sibling to go to college. I have two older brothers, a younger brother and a younger sister. Being in the middle I deal with pressure from both sides and still have the drive to make myself better.
When a new coach asks what position I play, the answer is all positions, as long as I’m on the field there’s nothing I wouldn’t be prepared to do. I’m a gritty scrapper that isn’t afraid of anything. I can simple say that my knowledge, heart, and drive is what I bring to the team, the games, the practices, and the sport of football.
