What does it mean to be a college athlete? To me it requires a lot of dedication, hard work, and heart. The work you put in life is what your end result would be. I have had help and guidance all throughout my life to be a better person, but I never needed anyone to push me. I push myself in everything that I do to be a better student, athlete, and person. A lot of people don't have to work that hard to achieve great things, but I do work hard. I put my head down and work even harder when things don't go as planned. I have been playing football since I was 5 and I want to carry out my dream of playing football to the next level.
Football may be just a game to some people, but for me it is an example about life. You may be the better candidate for the job and yet someone else gets picked. Just like you may be the better candidate for the position on the field and don't get picked. Football is like life you get knocked down on the field you have to pick yourself up, and go to the next play.
