Keelan Laidlaw '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Keelan Laidlaw, a junior at Aden Bowman Collegiate. I am 16 yrs old, 6'3", 185 pound first string, top division quarterback. I have been the starting QB for the past 4 yrs. Over the past 6 years I have attended several high level QB camps. I am currently working with Whitfield Athletix and have been trained by George Whitfield & Sam Moran Jr. in San Diego. I had previously attended Camp QBR in Arkansas. I am a multi sport athlete, having played in a high tier Canadian hockey league since I was 7yrs old. I have also played basketball & soccer for many years. I currently alternate between weight training at Ignite Athletic Conditioning & QB specific training six days per week. Over the next eight months I will be attending many private training sessions and group sessions at Whitfield Athletix to hone my skills for my senior year. This year I lead my division in passing yards as a junior. I have a strong understanding of the quarterback position, I pride myself on my quarterback mechanics, quick release, scramble ability, and reading of coverage. Over the last several years I have had coaches tell me I have the brain of a quarterback & have been one of the most coachable athletes they have worked with. I also work very hard in the class room to maintain a high average/ 3.05 GPA. I am looking to attend college or University in the U.S.A. I am very open to different schools around the country. My passion is football & my dream would be to play football at the highest level! I am seeking a college that values academic and athletic achievements equally.
