Coleton Thomasson '27 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Coleton Thomasson. I am 5'11" and 205 pounds and I am 14 years old. I play left tackle at Chester Senior High School in South Carolina. I currently am in the ninth grade, and I am a starter for the Junior Varsity Football Team at Chester High School and second string for the Varsity Football Team (Go Cyclones!). I had an uncle that played for Georgia and one that played for Clemson. I am looking to follow in their footsteps and pursue playing college football while I continue my education. I enjoy the leadership and team building aspects of football as well as the competitiveness of the sport itself. 

I love to play football it is my favorite sport and I have played since I was 5 years old. I am a hard-working player, I am normally one of the first people to practice (30 minutes early), and when given a task or goal to complete, I don't give up at all. I am very competitive and dedicated to my team. I would love to play on a D1 football team because it will allow me to keep playing the sport of football while I continue my education and pursue my career goals.  I love the sport a lot and it has been my dream since I was a little boy to play college football and be on a D1 field one day. I have played defense of tackle, band offensive guard and center, as well as back-up center. But my main position is offensive OL tackle.

Outside of football I go to the field in my spare time and get some work in.  I also attend college camps. This year I attended Clemson and USC camps.  I also love to hang out with my friends and family and help my dad grill out on the weekends. I understand grades come first as a student athlete. I am doing well in school, and always keep up with my work because I know that is most important. I made honor roll all year last year and won the superintendent's academic excellence award. We are three weeks into school as of now and I currently have all A's.
