I am Lamareon Thompson. During my time in youth football, only my teammates and coaches referred to me as Bronco. However, when I entered Middle School, everyone, including my teachers, started calling me Bronco. The nickname stuck with me into High School, both on and off the field.
I began participating in recreational football during first grade and joined a travel football team in 5th and 6th grade. During middle school (8th grade), I secured a starting position as a right guard on the High School JV team. In 9th grade, I earned a place on the Varsity team, starting again as a right guard. I am open to playing various positions and am dedicated to playing wherever needed to support my team.
My current interest lies in pursuing engineering in college, although this may evolve over time. I acknowledge that my education holds equal, if not greater, significance compared to my football career. I perceive myself as diligent both in academics and on the field. I do not undervalue my talents; each day, I remain grounded by the realization that many aspiring athletes long for even a portion of the opportunities I have been fortunate to receive.
I am a committed athlete who has a strong passion for football. Following each game, I proudly affirm that I have given my all and performed to the best of my abilities. I possess and demonstrate the qualities of an exceptional football player, making me a valuable addition to any college team. I am meticulous and attentive, adept at effective communication, in good physical shape with enduring stamina, a leader by example, and deeply passionate about the sport of football.
“Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.” ~ Pele
