I am an Eagle Scout, which is proof of my leadership and community service. I am a captain of both my high school football and soccer teams. Both players and coaches say I am a leader. I will do whatever it takes to help the team and have strived to make myself the best I can possibly be.
I have been a starting varsity football team member for four years. I am an athlete and will do whatever coach asks me to do. I feel that my versatility has made me a valuable asset to my team. This season I started out at place kicker, punter, and tight end. To add to this list, I also played wide receiver, safety, corner, outside linebacker and defensive end. My field goal attempts include a long of 51 yards, my punts average 41.6 yards per punt with a long of 58 on the season, and most of my kickoffs have resulted in a touchback. I also have over 217 receiving yards this season along with a defensive touchdown. Formal recognition of my accomplishments include 2-A Region 1 All-Region, Anderson Touchdown Club recognition as Offensive Player of the Week and Lineman of the Week, and most recently being named to the Palmetto Champions All-Star Football Team by the SC Football Coaches Association as AA Kicker of the Year.
My goals and aspirations are to complete a four-year degree and to play football at the next level because of the love of the game. High School sports have helped me keep focused on my grades and I think that playing football while I’m in college will do the same. College has always been a goal of mine, and now it seems more obtainable.
