My college goals - To be a starting quarterback for a division one school. To earn a legitimate degree that will help me obtain the best possible career after my football career is over. My plan at this point is to study business and finance in college. I am taking the highest level courses that my high school has to offer and maintaining an "A" average. I motivated academically because I know that my football career could end at any moment. I will do whatever it takes to achieve my academic goals. I understand that it takes sacrifice to be a student athlete. I believe that I would be a good choice as quarterback for any team because of my love of the game and experience at the position. I have played starting quarterback since age 6. I have been successful throwing the ball at every level. I have always been a very accurate and consistent passer. In little league our team was the only team throwing the ball 20 times per game. My Dad says that my best attributes are my arm strength, unbreakable self confidence, and desire to win. I have never lost my confidence in any game, no matter what the score or situation. I am not afraid of failure or adversity. What makes me different from many other recruits is that I have always understood the relationship between talent, work, and success. My parents are martial arts teachers so I have been taught the discipline of focused repetition and the importance of mental and emotional self control. I have grown up in the "tall QB" era and I have always been average height. When I go to camps, the coaches don't really notice me until I start throwing routes. My younger brother is 6' 3" in the ninth grade, and the coaches always start talking to him before he even catches the first ball. I have always had to work extra hard to get noticed. When I commit to something, I am "All In" and loyal until the end. Playing quarterback has always been my dream and felt very natural to me. I have never even considered another position. My baseball coach says that I could play baseball in college, but I can only see myself being one of the great quarterbacks to play the game. If I get my chance, God willing, I will achieve greatness at the position. There is no way a coach is going to find a quarterback that wants to win more than me. Don't forget my name because the football world will know it eventually.
