Marcellus Henderson '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Marcellus Henderson and I graduated class of 2013 David Crockett High School in Austin, Texas.  I then play football at Wayland Baptist University my Freshman year. I was named 2nd team all conference for punting my freshman year of football at Wayland Baptist University and also named Special Teams Co MVP for our team awards. I continued to the university and due to not having enough money to pay for the full semester I joined Cheerleading to help raise enough money to pay for college on scholarship. I then loss my grandfather and began missing school to be home for the family and tried to do homework on the move which became harder and failed to meet the requirment of 2.0 to maintain my scholarship to play. I also made the choice to try to come home to help family issues but I then came home to be homeless and then I started getting housing support from my grandparents and my grandma helped me payed for my classes. I have been out of football for 2 years but have been currently been working on getting eligible to attend a university I've also been hitting the weights and speed training with my private trainer and his contact info is in my profile. Looking to play any position would like to play Strong Safety, Linebacker, Running Back, or Punter.
