Trent Jackson '12 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Trent Jackson and im a running back at Cuero High School. I've been a starter on varsity since my freshman year. My freshman year i rushed for 1,436 yards and 21 touchdowns. I averaged 12.7 yards per carry and scored a touchdown on every 4.4 carries. I earned all-district also. My sophomore year i rushed 287 times for 2526 yards and 34 touchdowns. I earned sophomore all-american and and all-state. I also got all-district. My junior year i only played 4 games before tearing my acl. i rushed for 1000 yards and 10 touchdowns. Right now i've been workiong on getting back better. I finsihed a 6 month rehab process in 4 months. Before my injury colleges loved me, now i feel like i have something to prove because a lot of them have dropped me. During the season i weighed 200 pounds and ran a 4.4. Now i weigh 190-195 and run a 4.5. This summer my goal is to weigh 205 and run a 4.4. Every year i live in the weight room to get better. That's always my goal is to get better year by year. Outside of football i raise Bluenose Pitsbulls and love to fish. Currently i have ten Pitbulls. If football doesnt work out for me my plan is to become a fishing guide. I grew up in a tough environment and lived in the same apartment my whole life. My family struggles financially but i never used that as an excuse for simpathy. I just use it as motavation. I would love to major and be a lawyer but havent really made up my mind yet. My biggest goal is to make it out for my family.
