I started as left tackle for our team as a Junior - our coach says that our best lineman will always start as left tackle. This year I was the only Jr. awarded 1st Team All-District on our entire team with 59 seniors on the roster. I know that I should play guard because of pulling ability but my team needs me to protect our QB's blind side. Most likely, I will start again next season at left tackle but I love that my coach pulls me to lead block from the LT position. At the next level I want to play guard and contribute to a high level team. Can't wait to pull at the college level!
I grew up playing lacrosse and football. In lacrosse, I played Attack and played on my school team and also travel select teams but once in high school I focused on football. I really believe lacrosse helped my footwork which is what my coaches like about me at my size.
I led our team in pancakes - please take a look at my film. If you need to see more please let me know or follow me on Twitter @LawsonPetty1
Highland Park High School is very competitive academically and athletically and am grateful for my coaches and teachers pushing me to be my best.
I look forward to talking and learning from coaches at the college level!
