My name is Jacquille Myles; I am a senior at Lake Highland High School in Dallas, TX (9-5A). I am a 3 year letterman on varsity football, a 1st Team All District defensive back proudly wearing #24, and second year Team Captain (Junior and Senior) for the Wildcats! I have been playing organized football since the age of 4 years old (from flag, select, to pop warner) on-going into High School. I have attended many nationally recognized camps, ranked in the top percentile and have performed in top or elite showcases (Football University, National Under-Classmen, Under Amour and various college mini-camps). I am a very passionate, determined, focused, and disciplined person/player that leads by example on the field and off the field.
I am 5'10 and weigh 175 lbs, my 40 time is 4.51 and my shuttle is 4.19. In the broad jump I jumped 10'01" along with a vertical of 33 inches. I currently max my bench at 265lbs. During my 3 year tenure on varsity, I have contributed to my team by starting as safety, cornerback, kick-offs, kick returns and punts. I was the first substitute DB as a sophmore and was an instant impact providing multiple tackles as well as several knockdowns. I had the first interception of the 2009 season, which was during our game opener. This accomplishment was highlighted on Texas Medias abroad (Newspapers, Televisions and noted as Play of the Week). Throughout my career, my name has been mentioned in local media numerous of times for my skills in football (sometimes mispelled as Jaquille Myles). My goal is to attend a major university and play football at the collegiate level. While at the collegiate level I plan to major in business law or dentistry. An educational objective for me is to allow my skills and talents on the field contribute towards my education off the field. I'm currently enrolled in honor courses and have an overall average of a 87. Last year I ranked in the top 30% percentile of my class (approx. 600 seniors). Outside interest include but not limited to; being actively involved in my community and church. I participate in local summer lunch programs for less fortunate kids, fund raisers, vacation bible school, mentoring local youth and High School activities. Over the past two years I've ran varsity track to keep my speed down (4x100, 4x200, 4x400). Due to my quickness, I am the lead in all the relays and was a part of setting a record in the 4x200 in 2010. I'm a passionate, physical, intelligent, dedicated, and determined football player and the BEST is yet to come!
Thank you!
