Grayson McGehee '26 Recruiting Profile

I'm Grayson McGehee,  I’m a 6-foot, 215-pound linebacker from Denison, Texas. Balancing football and school has always been important to me, and I work hard to excel at both. Right now, I have a 3.7 GPA, and I’m determined to keep raising it. My goal for college is to keep playing football, help my team succeed, and earn a master’s degree in Accounting. This season, I had 81 tackles, with 60 of them being solo. On the 5A leaderboard, I finished 50th in the regular season and ranked in the top 10 for tackles and sacks. I also recorded 3 sacks, 6 quarterback hurries, and averaged 8.6 tackles per game. My 40-yard dash time is 4.61 seconds, and I’m passionate about the weight room, where I bench 225 pounds, squat 320, and deadlift 420. Off the field, I’m a member of the National Honor Society and involved in several school clubs. I’ve also completed 10 hours of community service over the past two months. I try to lead by example, reflect my Christian values, and make a positive impact on my teammates and those around me. In college, I hope to break records, help my team make the playoffs, and keep pushing myself to be the best I can be as a player and a student. I’m ready to bring my dedication, work ethic, and love for football to the next level.
