Jakobi Lewis '20 Recruiting Profile

Being the first person in my immediate family to earn a college degree would be a testament to my hard work, dedication, and ambitions both on and off the field.   Studying kinesiology will give me the opportunity to stay involved with the game I love and help other student athletes like myself achieve their goals.  To accomplish this while playing football at the collegiate level would be life changing. I am a versatile player that gives one hundred percent in all aspects of the game.  I strive to be a leader both on the field, in the locker room and in the classroom.  My ability to overcome adversity makes me a valuable asset to any team. Despite my parents being in and out of prison, me being in the state’s custody, and playing at three different high schools, I have stayed focused on turning my dreams into a reality.  Above all, I will be loyal and honorable in all that I do out of respect for my teammates, coaches and classmates.
