First and foremost, my overall goal in life is to serve God and serve others. This goal has given me a purpose and is helping me develop my character even more. Football is my passion and my goal is to continue developing my skills both on and off the field while contributing to the success of a team. I bring a combination of dedication, work ethic, and coachability that sets me apart from others.
As a former quarterback, I have a strong understanding of the game, excellent physical conditioning, and a willingness to learn and adapt to different strategies and playstyles.
In regards to my character, I am a leader both on and off the field. Sometimes leadership for me is motivating others, setting a good example, or being the teammate the quarterback or defensive captain calls when they need support. Not only do I prioritize teamwork, respect, and integrity, but I am committed to being a positive influence in the locker room and in the community. As the son of a Marine and growing up on military bases, I understand the importance of discipline and accountability.
Academically, I have been selected for the College Board’s National Hispanic Recognition Program due to my PSAT score and AP exam scores and was tested for and identified as a Gifted and Talented student in elementary school. I am confident that I can excel both on the field and in the classroom at the collegiate level.
Overall, I believe I am a strong candidate as a college athlete because of my dedication, versatility, leadership qualities, and commitment to excellence both athletically and academically.
