Colby Sessums '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Colby Sessums. I will be playing in the Blue-Gray All American Bowl game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Tx Jan. 25, 2021.  I have made 48 out of 48 field goals for my kicking career.  I am a 5- star kicker ranked #10 in the nation through Kohls as well Kornblue as of July 2020. I was also ranked in the top 10 through Kohls in Jan 2020. Both of the Kohls rankings came through the national competitions. I am the top ranked kicker in Texas through the Kohls organization. Also, during the national competition through Kohls, I ranked as a 4.5- star punter. Most recently, I won the field goal competition at the Kornblue kicking camp (held in August 2020) with a 63 yard field goal and won the punting competition as well at that camp. I placed second in the field goal competition this year competing for the Under Armour All American game spot. I am known for completing several different types of onside kicks. My kickoffs go into the endzone easily with an average of 70+ yards and 3.85+ hang times documented through the Kohls organization. I was 35 out of 36 points for field goals and 110.64 on kickoffs at the last Kohls national showcase (July 2020) in Tennessee. I also placed second in the Kohls underclassman challenge with a 60 yard field goal off the ground in the single elimination competition (January 2020). I am a Senior (2021) at V.R. Eaton High School in Haslet, Texas. I have multiple 60+ yard field goals on my twitter @SessumsColby. I am a 6’1”, 177 lbs with a 4.0 unweighted and 5.54 weighted GPA. I am ranked in the top 5% of my class.

I currently volunteer at Victory Therapy Center and help special needs children in their therapy sessions. It is very rewarding. I would like to continue to volunteer with special needs children when I am in college. I am open to many options of colleges at this point.
