DERRICK BAYER '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Derrick Bayer and I am currently a Senior at Gatesville High School in Gatesville, Tx. I am a multiple sport athlete but my favorite sport by far is football. I play receiver for our varsity football team and have been on the varsity since my Sophomore year.  I aspire to play football at the next level after high school and am putting in the necessary work to achieve this goal. Due to an unfortunate incident in a 7 on 7 tournament I missed my junior year. I have completed all of my rehabilitation and feel that I am stronger and faster than I previously was. Playing college football is one of my biggest goals in life and I have the grades to back it up.  Thank you for taking time to read about me and please consider accepting me into your football program. During the 2017 season I had 16 touchdowns, 1084 yards receiving, and finished the 2017 season ranked first per the Waco Tribune in Central Texas.
