Personal Statement

I know that it is a cliché for any serious-minded student athlete to say they want to play at the highest level of competition for football. This personal mission statement is about the value I will be to the right college and team. I have the confidence to know I will be a successful college athlete and high achieving student and represent the right institution as one of its successful and respected future alumni.

I believe in myself, and I have the grit, accountability, pride, and personal integrity to be part of a winning team and college.

I understand achieving my goals requires a defined vision, faith in myself, hard work and determination to which I am fully committed. I am a servant leader by example – not by authority; through personal accountability, preparing longer, and working harder than the competition.

Some accomplishments I am most proud of include being elected by teammates as Offensive Team Captain, being selected to the Academic All-State Team, the All-District Team, and earning my Eagle Scout Rank. I am a high academic achiever and currently have a 4.61 GPA weighted scale, Adjusted to a 4 point scale is 3.69 GPA, and in the top 14% of my class, and member of the National Honor Society.

I am a starter on the Varsity Team and play Tight End, Quarterback, Long Snapper, Running Back, and Wide Receiver. What sets me apart from other athletes is I thrive on competition and my willingness, flexibility, and determination to excel in the roles needed for my team's success. I value the challenges asked of me; and drive toward excellence in each role to best support the team. I contribute as an impact playmaker that the other teams underestimate.

I aspire to use my experience as a collegiate football player and my bachelor’s degree to further my progression at higher levels of football and then to work in the field of medicine as a doctor of Orthopedics or Dentistry. I have the personal drive, integrity, and maturity to succeed on the field as well as in the classroom and know that following my plan I will achieve and earn this dream.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
