After high school I would like to earn my master's degree in mechanical engineering. Learning how things work together and operate has always been intriguing to me and mechanical engineering is exactly that. I am in the top 10 of my class out of roughly 140 students. My GPA is 4.2. I have received Academic All -District three years in a row. I am in the National Honor Society and I am currently taking dual-credit classes.
I have started on the varsity offensive line since my freshman year, and my junior year was my first starting year as a defensive lineman. I have played center and left guard, I can play anywhere on the O-line, also I have played all positions on the D-line; mainly being a defensive tackle. While I've only played offensive and defensive line throughout my football career, I can play anywhere I am asked to. I've always heard you need to be a football player, not a defensive or offensive lineman, etc. Meaning that you play where the coach tells you he needs you to play, and that is what I have always done.
Football is a passion of mine, and I would love to take it to the next level in my career. I put in the work on the field and in the classroom. Knowing that grades are important to getting into college, I have always made sure my academics come first before what I do on the field. On the field I am constantly pushing myself and my teammates to be more explosive as well as being strong athletes. I am a powerlifter as well. I lift with a local gym working on my agility and speed. I have even put together a group of 10-15 other teammates to get stronger and faster with me.
