Parker Ireson '24 Recruiting Profile

As I prepare for college, I am looking for a school that will help me excel as an athlete and as a student.  I love playing on offense, whether that is blocking as a Tight End or running out for passes as a Tight End and a Wide Receiver, working as part of a unit to protect and create plays. Playing for a top national program in Texas (Division 6-A) has taught me the importance of studying film, working hard in the off-season, and prioritizing my time so I can balance my studies.  I began playing on varsity as a Sophomore, playing in all 11 games. I became a starting Wide Receiver in my Junior year and also go in as the backup Tight End. 

I am playing in the toughest competition in Texas and I’m eager to continue my journey in college, playing for a competitive program with strong traditions.  I am taking full course loads with AP classes in high school, selecting not to use a period for study hall.  I plan to study business or engineering in college and then will pursue a career in aviation as a Pilot after I complete college and flight training.  I am excited about the next phase of football and look forward to speaking with you!
