I've played varsity football since my freshman year. I started as center and noseguard in my sophomore year. Both years I only received academic all-district. This past season, junior season, I really stepped up, receiving 1st team all-district defensive tackle and 2nd team all-district offensive line as well as academic all-district. I work hard in the weight room I try to be in there all 5 week days working the upper body 3 days a week and the lower twice a week. While on the field I keep my own mouth shut and try to keep my teammates mouths shut as well, it can only hurt us.
I am currently taking online college courses with Coastal Bend College trying to boost my high school GPA as well as start my college GPA off well. I have been handpicked to attend many leadership summits, as well as to attend the summit for future medical leaders and to receive an award from that summit. I was not able to attend any of these because of financial complications(It was just plain to expensive), this has fueled me to do well, so as to receive academic as well as athletic scholarships.
