Jaylon Henderson '15 Recruiting Profile

I have the “Power” of a God giving talent both on and off the field. I have a specific “Purpose” for my life. I have the unwavering “Persistence” to accomplish every goal I set for my life.

Hello. My name is Jaylon Henderson and the above statement is my personal motto that describes me and my ambitions.  I am a junior currently attending Kingwood Park High school in Kingwood, TX. I am 6’2”, weighing in at 190 pounds and have started as my varsity team’s quarterback for the past 2 years. Currently, I have maintained a 3.5 cumulative GPA and will be taking the SAT in the spring of 2014.

As far my football career, I have a total of over 1100 passing yards and have rushed for over 1100 yards during this past football season.  I was blessed to be invited to attend the US Army All-American combine in San Antonio, TX in January of 2014 where I ran a 4.54 – 40 yard dash and had a 34.5” vertical. Additionally, I was invited and attended the Elite 11 Quarterback camp in Los Angeles, CA. where I was recognized by Scout.com and 247sport.com as one of the top performers at the camp.

Off the field, I am involved with serving my community through various community service projects. On my own time I love to work out, play golf and basketball, fishing, and hanging out with friends.

My number #1 goal is to attend a college or university where I can pursue a quality education in the field of Criminal Justice, continue to play football and win a National Football Championship.
