Personal Statement

My name is Carson Collins, and I appreciate you visiting my profile.  I am a strong scholar-athlete, leader, winner and starting varsity QB at Lovejoy High School in DFW.  I feel I am the hardest working and most coachable player on my team.  I am wired to lead by example and WIN.  I am also a great teammate, raising others up around me.  As a QB, I have maturity and poise, never too high and never too low, all while demonstrating a great passion for the game and my team. I come from a football family with success at the high school and collegiate levels.  I look forward to my future in high school, college, and beyond.

Here is what my coaches and evaluators say are my best attributes as a QB:

  • Passionate, Competitor, Winner, Leadership, Poise,
  • Strong Decision Making, Accurate, Strong Arm,
  • Fast, Athletic, Play-maker with uncanny ability to know "Where to go" with the ball

I am also passionate about my faith, school, other sports, and I love to play the guitar and sing in the school choir.  I love to learn and stretch myself as I am in our school district's Gifted and Talented Math Program.  I want to be the best QB in the nation, lead my team, and play the game that I love so much while I get my education.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
