My name is Micah Anthony Ramos and i'm a Senior at Lyford High School. I have been playing sports since I was 5 years old and I began playing football when I was in 7th grade and it has been one of my passions since. Football wasn't always my favorite sport when I was young because I was timid and afraid but as I got older my love for the game grew, and I can't begin to explain what I'd do for another down; under the Friday Night Lights at Bulldog Stadium. As a two year starter, I learned many things dealing with football but I learned even more dealing with life. I learned that even when we are clicking offensively and everythings going right; we may still not win the game. However I also learned that when everything is working and you can't be stopped, it just may be your night. I feel like these two lessons are in fact life lessons, because in life your gonna be hit and your gonna get a curveball thrown at you but no matter what never quit and continue to push forward because the feeling of sucess and victory is worth the pain and worry. No matter if your up 50 or down 50 never get complacent because just when you feel you are in control the game or "life'" is slipping by you. It is my dream to go to college, and despite the fact that I'm 5'9, 200 lbs on a good day and I might only run a 5.0 forty, I know I can help a program somewhere and I will not lie; I may not be a huge factor but in high school I felt like I was on top of the world while I was on the gridiron and I gave it my all. And thats how I plan to go about my business in college, just as I always have and I will push myself to be the best that I can be.
Sincerly
Micah Anthony Ramos
