My passion for sports is not something new or recently developed. I have been playing sports since the age requirement allowed me to do so. During my Junior year of high school is when my decision to continue playing football at the collegiate level really developed. I do not only love the sport, but it runs through my veins. I love the contact, the dedication it requires to perfect your skill and the brotherhood that comes with football. Being a part of something larger is especially important to me. It is not only about what is offered on the field as it is off the field. I have had setbacks which include an injury but that has only increased my drive to make my dream a reality. I have and will continue to put in the extra work, on those days that I do not want to, to make my name be called during a college football game. This is what makes me different. I am dedicated and willing to do whatever it takes plus more. I have never wanted anything more than this and now is my time. I refuse to let my setbacks stop me, but I view them as my setup for my future.
