Colby Offutt '20 Recruiting Profile

My dream has always been to be a college athlete.  I have loved every sport I have played since I was a young boy.  I have looked to my coaches along the way for guidance while on each team.  I have LOVED football since I was 5 years old, but I did not think I had the stature and size to play at a collegiate level until the past year.  However, my football season this fall has been exceptional and my coaches have encouraged me to consider college football options.  Because of changes in my height, weight, body composition, and skills, I am now excited to consider college football.  I teach yoga and practice yoga daily which has increased my ability to move and improved my speed tremendously over the past year.  I am fired up about being and staying physically active and being part of a team.  Football has helped me to seek greater character, create more self discipline, and to love the magic of collaboration with others.  God has gifted me with these insights, especially over the past year, and I look forward to the growth that is ahead.
