Playing collegiate football has always been a dream of mine. From the time I learned to throw a football I've wanted to be a college quarterback. I believe I have many useful characteristics that can help me achieve this goal. As a student and as an athlete, I have always made it a priority to be responsible and prepared. That is why I believe I have had success as a student and as an athlete. As the son of a man who displays exceptional moral ethics and decision-making, I have tried to follow in his footsteps to become not only a skilled athlete or student, but a great young man who can contribute to a group positively and lead it towards its common goal. For example, as a freshman I volunteered to stay after practice multiple times every week to practice throwing and run plays to help another teammate with his route running. I believe that what sets me apart is that I know what I want and I am willing to work hard to achieve it! I have learned that when you have the combination of hard work, commitment, and a team working together, no goal is unreachable. These characteristics make a valuable and uncommon combination that I believe has prepared me for the mental and physical rigors of the next level of athletics.
As an athlete I embrace challenges, and I am searching for a college with the appropriate combination of academic and athletic excellence. In college I would like to study and get a degree in either Physical Therapy or Kinesiology. I believe that I can make a positive impact on your program and team. Thank you for reading my letter and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
