Personal Statement

I am a 5'8" 180 pound senior that runs a 4.48 in the forty. My senior year I was nominated again as a DFW Tom Landry Award Finalist. I also was named District 10-5A Co-MVP and 1st team All District 10-5A RB. I again led North Texas area 5A in rushing yards with 247 carries for 1,882 yards and 24 rushing TD's through 11 games. I also returned 2 KO for TD's, had a punt return TD and had a receiving touchdown. My team made the playoffs all 3 years I was on Varsity. My junior year I was named 1st team All State RB in 5A, District 10-5A MVP, Collin County Player of the ;Year, VYPE Magazine Offensive Player of the Year and led North Texas area 5A in rushing yards with 317 carries for 2,072 and 30 total TD-through 11 games, in which 2 of those touchdowns were a 96-yard kick return and a receiving touchdown. Our team finished 8-3 (6-1 iin District 10-5A/2nd place);and made the playoffs for the second consecutive year. The first time in school history that we have made back to back playoff appearances. My achievements this year allowed me to be one of the 5-Finalists for the Tom Landry Award, which is an award for the best high school Football player in North Texas. I was also named 1st team All-District RB, and VYPE Magazine All County Team. My first year on varsity as a sophomore in 2010, I rushed 175 times for 1321 yards and 10 TDs. I also returned a kickoff for a TD and had a receiving touchdown. I was named 1st team all District RB in 10-5A and Sophomore of the year in District 10-5A. I am concentrating now on improving my speed and getting stronger.I know I must put in a lot of work so that I can continue to improve. I will do anything I can to get better, and I am very coachable. I am not looking at any specific places to play football, as long as they contain the majors that I want to choose. Id like to go to a school where I can be openly faithful. I want to major in Physical Education or Chemistry. I find a deep interest in helping people so I am In the Peer Assistance and Leadership Service or PALS, which has taken me through peer mediation training. Also, my girlfriend and I started a bible study with high school kids only that contains 30 weekly members. I would like to choose a college where I can make an immediate impact on and off the field. I will do whatever I can to contribute. I have played the game 9 years and want to continue playing until I reach my dream of playing college football, winning a College Football Championship. Later playing in the NFL and winning a Super Bowl Championship.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
