Personal Statement

My name is James Driskell and I am from McKinney, TX. I am a 2011 graduate of McKinney Boyd HS and I transfered from Texas A&M Commerce to East Central Community College in Decatur, Miss. My primary position is WR/KR/PR. I was a red shirt at Texas A&M Commerce and a gray shirt at ECCC. I still have 4 years of eligibility and I am writing to you because of my interest in playing college football. Athletic Highlights and accomplishments: 2010 – 68 catches/1020 yards/7Td’s/1-87 yd KO ret TD/1- 86 yd Punt ret TD Honorable mention 5A All State receiver/ 1st team All District in 10-5A 1st team All Collin County 2009 – 59 catches/1082 yards/3 TD’s McKinney Boyd Offensive MVP/ 1st team All District in 8-5A 2nd team All Collin County I ended my career as the leading receiver in McKinney Boyd history and had at least 1 reception in 22 consecutive games. What makes me attractive for a college program is that I have excellent speed and productive hands. I will work hard to get better, and I'm very coachable. I am a very competitive, hardworking team player. I love to block and spring my teammates for long gains! I am looking for a place where I can find the right balance between classroom and athletics. I want to be at a school that will help me continue to develop as a productive person for the future and that has program in my major - Journalism or Communication

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
