I am a dedicated athlete and love every minute of every game that I play. I have been told that my passion, energy, and commitment elevate my teams. I am a coachable, smart player with technical skills, speed, and agility. I am a well-rounded athlete and play many sports - football, basketball, track, and cross country.
I have been playing sports almost continuously since I was four years old. They are a part of my life. In addition to the more traditional teams and sports, I also have trained in a form of karate (Tang Soo Do) for over 10 years, achieving my second degree black belt and teaching classes to the younger students. After winning and placing in many 5K and 10K races, I ran my first half marathon at age 13 in less than two hours. These help me with my agility and speed. Competition drives me in all areas of my life.
I balance my time and responsibilities well and have been able to keep my grades at a high level while taking honors and dual credit courses in a challenging college prep high school.
I plan to study engineering in college, but cannot imagine my sports life ending in high school and know that I would continue to bring my energy, enthusiasm and skill to the collegiate sports level.
