Lucas Cordova '15 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I was a little boy, I believe it was obvious to myself and to my parents that I loved to play the game of football. There's not a day that goes by where I don't think about football, it's always constantly running through my head at random parts of the day. It has always been a huge goal of mine to be able to play for a level higher than just my high-school varsity team. I plan on achieving this goal of mine by working hard both in the classroom and on the field, to be the best student-athlete I could possibly be. I am constantly working to improve myself in every aspect of the game. I enjoy pushing myself to new limits, and I enjoy working hard. I am a very competitive person, I do not mind having to fight for my spot on the field every single day. When I'm not working to be the best I can be on the field, I am working to be the best I can be in the classroom. I understand that being a student-athlete means that I also have to put in just as much time into my studies, as I would practicing. I am very coachable, and I pick up on things quickly. I always do my best to lead by example. I am a team player, and I will always do whatever I can to help the team improve as a whole. I look forward to being able to attend a college where I can better myself both as a student and an athlete. I wish to attend a college where I will face the highest level of competition possible, but still I am open to all options, and I will take what I can get. As long as I am able to achieve my goal, play football, and get an education, I'm happy.
