Jorge Lopez '16 Recruiting Profile

I am originally from Guadalajara, Jalisco, MX. I came to the U.S by myself when I was 15 years old to make my dream of playing college football become a reality. I've been living by myself since a very young age, so that has made a lot more mature than other athletes that are still living with their parents and this has given me the opportunity to kind of know how college life is like. Determination would be the word that defines me, whenever I want to do something, I do not stop striving until I get it.  My passion and love for the game is what drives me, I will not stop working as hard as I do until I get to be the best at my position, and when I get to the top, I will work even harder to stay there. My work ethic is just ridiculously insane, that is in fact where I excel the most. I am also a great student, I am in the top 10 of my class. I will do whatever it takes to achieve my dream/goal. What separates me from others is the fact that I am a great leader and I am able to lead on the field, plus I have the ablity to make my teammates play to the best of their abilities.
