Football began for me at five years old and I fell in love with the game the minute I stepped on the field. I consider myself a student of the game and my passion for improvement fuels me daily. Playing the quarterback position has helped me grow as a leader on and off the field. Being voted Captain by my teammates was an honor and a responsibility I took seriously. I use leadership skills learned on the field in the classroom and in my volunteer work.
There is more to me than football though. I have high academic expectations of myself and want to attend a college that is as competitive in the classroom as it is on the field. I was inducted into the National Honor Society as a sophomore. Volunteering with my mother through Young Men’s Service League has taught me the value of being a servant leader to my community. Most importantly I have developed perseverance, determination, and self-confidence through different challenges in my life.
