My name is Eric White and I play for district 30-5A Gregory-Portland High school and my goal is to play collegiate football. As a freshman, I lettered as a starter in football, basketball and was a regional qualifier for triple jump in track. I received 2014 All District First Team for Safety, 2nd Team All South Texas for Defensive Back and multiple awards for overall player and offensive player of the game. There are various things that make me different from other recruits. For example, I am a strong leader by my actions on and off of the field and I received written recognition from my high school principal for my leadership skills. Inspite of being a leader, I am humble enough to take direction from other leaders because I believe there is always room for improvement as an athlete and a student. I work hard on the field and also in the classroom in hopes of being the best person that I can be. My family is very supportive of my dreams and goals and they play a big role in what drives me to excel in sports and strive for greatness. My Christian faith helps me to stay grounded, remain focused on my goals, make smart choices and be determined to succeed in everything that I do.
