I am a 6' 5" hard-working Defensive End / Edge who also Punts and plays Wing for PAT in Texas 6A Football at Prosper High School and will graduate in the 2024 class. Played as a starter on the Prosper High School Freshman A team District Champions and our "Undefeated" 2021 Sophomore JV A team, District Champions; and in the Playoff Season on the Varsity team as a Sophomore. I am now on the Varsity Team as a Junior and am making an impact for the team. My GPA is strong with a 4.75 and I am earned a 25 on my ACT my Sophomore spring.
I believe I have both the talent to continue to level up my skills on the field for my coaches and team, and the contribution of leadership as shown through my coveted Eagle Scout award and serving as Class President of the Sophomore class 2021-2022. My work ethic is a daily commitment to train and develop my skills in the classroom, the weight room & on the field by giving 110% at meetings, practice and games with my teammates with energy, enthusiasm & encouragement. You will find my endurance to go the extra mile to encourage a teammate in the weight room or raise a players spirit when he had a bad play will be a strong asset for the team.
I am looking for an opportunity with an excellent college academic and football program where I can put the work in the classroom & on the football field with my team and finish the season strong. #DYJ

- Competed at the TCU Specialist camp as a Punter. Got to meet special teams coordinator Mark Tommerdhal and he called me a "Interesting Guy" due to the Punter/D end combo

- In his first Kohl's ranking event, Hanson graded out as a 4.5-star punter as he competed at the 2022 Kohl's Spring Ranking event in Texas. The punter from Prosper High School averaged 40+ yards a punt with his charting session. His best punts came with a 49-yard ball with 4.36 seconds of hangtime, and a 50-yard punt with 4.01 seconds of hangtime. His key to moving up in rankings in the near future will be sitting back on his punts and creating more hang time on a consistent basis-- which he is extremely close to achieving this. It will be exciting to see Hanson develop as a young 2024 punting prospect and is someone to keep an eye on.

- I was selected for Camp D-line top 5, and invited to VTO All American Challenge. "The VTO Sports Elite 100 Exposure Camps gives HS Football prospects the opportunity to showcase their talents and skills against other elite high school football players from around their region. The event includes combine testing, position drills, Linemen Challenge, 7v7 and 1on1s. During the event, we provide athletes with information on NCAA eligibility, the recruiting process, and any opportunities to “compete”. Top Performers from the combine and Top Performers from each positions group will earn an invite to the All-American Challenge."
