Austin Bush '13 Recruiting Profile

As a senior at Sachse High School, I finished the season as the top tackler on my team, helped my team to achieve the best record in school history (8-2), and was selected as the 2nd Team All-District Middle Linebacker. In addition to football, I played rugby for the past four years; in the past two years, I was selected to the Texas State Rugby Team, which competes against other states annually in Colorado. Academically, I currently hold a 3.8 GPA and I am in the top 11 percent of my class. I love to play football and can't imagine attending college without playing football. I am commited 100% to do what it takes to help me play at the next level especially to increase my speed and my size. My dream and goal is to play football in college, while earning a degree that will enchance my life and career after college. I'm leaning towards a major in Athletic Training/Kinesiology so that I can pursue a career in the sports industry that will help others.
