In the fall of 2020 I will be entering my SENIOR year of High School! I am an extremely driven and self-motivated quarterback who works daily to perfect my talent and skill set. Through my Junior year, I am a 2-year starter and have led my team to a 20-5 record (over the past 2 years) and an UNDEFEATED regular season in 2019 with a deep run into the state playoffs. I am a team Captain and I treat my role as a leader on the team as a priority. I have been named to 1st team All-District both years as a varsity player - 2018 District Newcomer of the Year and 2019 District Offensive MVP.
I began playing football at the age of 5. My drive to become a better athlete, player and teammate and my passion for the game have only gotten stronger as I have grown older. Both of my parents were college athletes and they have been a guiding force in my aspirations to play at the collegiate level. As a young man, and athlete, I have many goals both on and off the field. Academically, I have always taken my grades extremely seriously (and my parents have pushed me). My high school goal is to graduate in the top 10% of my class and to earn a full scholarship to play college football at a 4-year university. In college, I would like to study to become a teacher and a coach like both of my parents. Athletically my goal is to play in the HS State Championship, to play at a 4-yr college or university and then give myself the opportunity to play at the professional level someday!
I am blessed to have many influential people in my life. My mother has pushed and supported me to become the best student-athlete that I can be since I was a young child. My QB coach (as well as my youth, middle school and high school coaches) have not only been an influence on my football career but have also been amazing role models in my life. They have taught me about hard work and determination and perseverance, and have guided me through adversity and failures to become the young man that I am becoming. I am grateful for that.
Overall, my experiences have taught me to be humble, to work hard everyday, to take care of business in the classroom and to have a coachable attitude on and off the field.
