Hi my name is Dhaylen Stanton. From the very young age of 1 football became my life. My older brother David was a Madison high school football player. So every week, with no choice in the matter, I was under the Friday night lights. Tragedy would strike my family when I was two, as my brother suffered a catastrophic football injury. He lost his battle due to complications brought on by that injury. The light and love for football left our home until I hit 5th grade. I would beg to play and my parents finally gave in. The very first time I played I loved the game and knew football was for me. I always understand the assignment. In addition to being motivated and driven, I am a constant student of the game and my position. I understand that there is always room for improvement and open to what my coaches can teach me. Finally, I understand that there is no I in team and I am ready to be a team player.
