I'm Tyler Miller, currently a freshman student-athlete at Golden West College. This is to help me get further noticed and plan on where I will transfer after this time spent at GWC. I'm 5'11" 185 pounds, I run a 4.6 -40 and a 6.7 -60. Played all four years in high school as a varisty player. Sophmore year I was awarded honorable Mention Defensive Back, Junior year we moved up to class 2A and I recieved 1st Team Defensive back. Senior year was Preseason All-District Defensive back but with a new coach, I played QB. Awarded 1st team all district QB and was a Dave Campbell's Player of the Week. Threw for nearly 1800 yards and ran for 400 yards. With my athletic ability and leadership skills I feel I would be a perfect fit anywhere. As a team captain my senior year; there was no doubt in my mind that my teammates were going to follow me and trust me both off and on the field.
My goal is to obtain a degree in the health field. Academically, I carry a 3.0 GPA and was a member of the National Honor Society throughout high school.I am NCAA clarified and would like to earn my spot on a four year program as soon as I can. I understand the importance of managing both athletics and academics. I am open to a variety of colleges and universities. I am not opposed to large, small, public or private. My first choice would be to play in Texas, but I am open to other areas. Cant wait to hear from you!
