My football career has had many ups and downs, and those ups and downs have helped me be where I am today, My junior season, my team failed to make it the the playoffs. My senior year, this year, we are a one seed in our bracket. Junior year helped me understand my goals, and what I had to do to meet the. I understood that I must learn to love the hard work, love the discipline, only then will my goals come into fruition. I also learned the importance of team dynamics and how to lose sight of myself in benefit of the team. Football has influenced in many ways, It has inspired me to work my hardest in school, to see the rewards I earn from hard work, I have become more independent and responsible trusting myself and the people I surround myself with to make the best decisions.
Academically, I aspire to become the best I can be, earning my degrees in humanities. football has shown me my passion for public speaking, yes, I am the one giving those speeches before every game. Inspiring me to join our schools debate team, I have learned just how important collaboration is between teammates. My success in football and debate has shown me the importance of work in the team effort. I love football, and what it has taught me, and I never want to stop learning what it has to teach.
