I have known since the day I blew past all the defenders and ran the entire field for a touchdown with my flags by my side at 5 years old that my future was on the football field. The following few years were a whirlwind of success as my team went undefeated in our 8 game season at the mites recreation league level. I have played every season since I started flag football at five years old until now; as I go into my sophomore year in high school as a Varsity starter. My father coached me along the way, as he was also a successful football player through his childhood and on up through his entire high school career. He was an assistant coach on my team most of my recreation league years. He has taught me a lot about motivation and how important the attitude on the field is by getting my teammates excited. My moto has been "hard work pays off" and I live by that in all I do; whether it be school, sports, my job or just every day life. I work hard to get stronger and faster by weightlifting and training in my spare time. My schoolwork always comes first and I have grown up with the reality that if my grades don't reach a certain level then I will not participate in sports. That has never been a problem for me and I am proud of my grades in academics.
My dream is to play college level sports so that I can work my way up to the National League. I know it will not be easy, but I have always been driven by a challenge.
